Hey everybody, First off i would like to welcome all our new members to the society. If you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list just send me an email and it will be done. I recommend against it as emails are usual sent only as the need arises (con trips etc) and all emails sent are moderated so spamming isnt an issue. Secondly, STOCS will be having a general meeting on the Wednesday the 20th of this month to dicuss to things: 1) election of committee for sillicon (annual convention hosted by STOCS) 2) appointment of trips & events officer (Stuart was forced to resign due to other commitments). If you wish to run for any postions let me know in advance as a list of canidates usual makes the election run more smoothly. The positions for sillicon are: 1) Con director 2) Secretary 3) PRO 4) RPG and LARP coordinator 5) CCG coordinator 6) Wargames coordinator 7) Staff coordinator As it is a general meeting changes can also be made to the constitution (available on the website www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~stocs). Any proposed changes must be submitted by email 2 working days before the meeting. STOCS will continue as usual this week in CG20 on mon and wed at 6.30.
