ISS makes a Halloween appearance The spectacular I <http://www.astronomy.ie/iss.php> nternational Space Station (ISS), the largest and most expensive man made object ever put into space, will be visible blazing sensationally across Irish skies on Halloween Night at 6:25pm The ISS will appear as an extremely bright star like object in evening skies from October 31 to November 15, and can be seen as the brightest object in the sky apart from the Moon. To receive daily predictions of the times ISS <http://www.astronomy.ie/iss.php> will pass over straight to your mobile phone, text SPACE to 57003. Each text costs 1euro, and only one message will be sent per day. Proceeds help to promote interest in astronomy across Ireland.
