Yes, the rumours are true.
I?m turning 30.
And to celebrate, we?re going out and getting lashed!
Ironically, Bob?s Birthday Bash will be held in Bob?s of Temple Bar?
On Tuesday, 8th February, at 6.30.
The plan is to meet in Bob?s at 6.30, drink ourselves into oblivion (especially
me, drinking helps me forget how old I am) and then head out to go dancing.
Bob?s don?t have a late licence that night, but there are plenty of joints
around Temple Bar that do.
How to get to Bob?s:
It?s on Essex Street East. Cross the river on the new footbridge to the
southside. Walk into Temple Bar and hang a right after Fitzsimon?s hotel.
Continue down that road and you?ll see Bob?s on your left.
If we bring sufficient numbers, Bob?s will give us a whole floor to ourselves.
For the DCU students, Bob?s have assured me that they are 18?s friendly
but BRING I.D. Be prepared to get checked for I.D.
For all my mates that are as ancient as I am, I?m sure that?s not an issue?
Everybody is welcome, bring your mates, your enemies and anybody else you
happen to meet along the way. Hell, it?ll double up as a welcome back to
semester 2 sort of bash anyway.
