DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Sunday, September 30th, 2007*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Clubs and Socs Days - EGM - One Act Wonder Festival/ISDA - AOB * * * * *Absent: *Yvonne *Clubs and Socs Days:* - stand position: next to the ATM - membership: €4 - raffle: €5 per ticket, can buy as many tickets as they want - have to go to the EGM or their ticket won't be valid - committee can't take part in the raffle *- Fiona to buy raffle ticket book in Spar* - do lots of promotion during the week - postering early on Monday morning - chalk up 'Join DCU Drama' on blackboards in T101 and Henry Grattan classrooms - have fliers on the stand *- Jenni and Susan to buy sweets in Aldi for the stand* - hopefully we will have the membership cards ready by Tuesday *- Alan to find a laminator for the cards* - wear drama hoodies as much as possible next week *- costumes: meet at **6pm** tomorrow evening to root around the equipment room* - Lisa and Student Affairs are going to fund the Bui Bolg giants - they're being brought up on Monday and will be stored in V273 *- Pauric to include in the announce drama that we are looking for people to help man the stand and wear the Bui Bolg costumes* - the performance is happening on Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in the Grattan Street - could do it twice during that time - setting up around 12pm *- Pauric to talk to Shea and Music Soc about getting four mics and an amp* - we will be giving out fliers about the workshop on Thursday *- Yvonne to organize someone to take the workshop, maybe Ciaran Gray, Alan Kinsella or Liana* - it will be a bigger workshop than the others * * *EGM:* - 7pm on Monday of Week 3 *- Susan to book CG12 for the meeting, if it's not available try T101, and if that's not available try QG14* - deposit for Broadway will be €200 * * *One Act Wonder Festival/ISDA:* *- Susan to organise One Act Wonder meeting for 10th October in DCU* - first ISDA meeting of the year at 3pm on Sunday 7th October * * *AOB:* - the SPC will not fund us for sets anymore because we have nowhere to store them - we could rent a set for each show - but that eliminates a large part of the production of the show as we won't be able to offer set design to our members * * *Next meeting: **7:30pm**, **Sunday, October 7th, 2007***
