Hey guys, Here are the minutes from tonight's meeting. Please read them, as a lot of it is to do with Rocky Horror which is happening tomorrow night. Susan :-) DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Monday, October 29th, 2007*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Rocky Horror - LOAFS - Play in a Day - Vagina Monologues - AOB *Apologies: *Fiona, Jenni *Absent:* Yvonne, Marian *Rocky Horror:* *- Alan, Declan and Megan to put up posters tomorrow morning at **9:30am*** - we are getting a projector from Una, a projector screen from loans, a projector and screen from Educational Services, and we're renting another projector and screen from Corportate Audio Visual Services *- Alan and Pauric to collect the screens at 10am, and leave them in the Venue if the Venue is open* *- Declan to ask John McKeown what time CAVS are coming in tomorrow* - CAVS will cost €600, need to be paid tomorrow - Conor has downloaded the movie - Alan has the script and will give it to Conor - Alan and Fiona got all of the props *- Pauric to ask Shea how to bring out the seats in the Venue at **1pm*** *- Alan to make tickets tonight* *- Pauric to photocopy and guillotine them at **1pm*** *- Pauric to bring over hoodies and leave them in Meeting Room 1 at 1pm, Susan and Megan to pick them up at **4pm*** - want to set up a stand between 4pm and 6pm to sell tickets - 4pm to 5pm: Susan, Megan - 5pm to 6pm: Declan, Pauric *- Pauric to pick up water pistols at **5pm*** *- Pauric, Yvonne and Megan to go to the Play in a Day workshop, and leave at **7pm** to prepare for Rocky Horror* *- the rest of the committee to meet at **6pm** to set up the Venue (Declan, Alan, Susan, Fiona, Marian, Jenni, and Conor as soon as he can)* - Fiona has organised a concession into Club 21 after Rocky Horror finishes - Alan says don't get too drunk if we have to bring first years into town - Pauric says they're adults, let's get drunk *LOAFS:* - want to organise a meeting with the one act directors to allow them to check out the Old Bar as a venue, to check the equipment room for props, etc. - one act directors: Conor, Susan, Olena Ripnick, Alan Flanagan, Sean Kennedy, Eoin O'Neill *- Pauric, Declan and Megan to meet with the directors in Clubs and Socs Office at **1pm** on Friday* *- Pauric to contact all the directors about this meeting* *- Declan to find out about tech in the Old Bar* * * *Play in a Day:* - the Venue is booked - the email has been sent out - hopefully we'll get a good turnout *Vagina Monologues:* - auditioning Wednesday and Thursday of this week, 6pm-8pm in CG01 - Susan Doyle is looking for a producer - Yvonne, Fiona and Megan have all expressed an interest in it *AOB:* - Campus blurb for Week 7: just mention Liam Halligan's workshop and thank everyone for coming to Rocky Horror - Pauric has been talking to Olena and she's up for having a student director for the musical - who would we ask? *- Pauric to send out an announce drama asking if anyone is interested in taking it on* - it would be great if we could get all students on the creative team for the musical - a student choreographer and MD may not have enough experience though - may as well include choreographer in the announce drama too * * *Next meeting: **7pm**, **Monday, November 5th, 2007***
