Susan :-) DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Monday, March 10th, 2008*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Seats in the Venue - Leisureplex event - Transport - AGM, when? - Scrubs the Musical, when? - Yearbook/scrapbook - AOB *Apologies:* Jenni, Marian, Conor, Yvonne *Absent:* Megan *Matters arising:* *- Pauric and Declan to meet John tonight about Six Semesters premiere* *Seats in the Venue:* - seats in the Venue are broken - we'll just have to be more creative with our seating plan for upcoming shows *Leisureplex event:* - team of five to go this Wednesday, leaving at 1:30pm - no one on committee can make it *- Pauric to try and contact five drama members who can go* *Transport:* - we need to work out the transport of sets for ISDA - there's a guy doing runs between Skerries and DCU for the Fame set who might be able to do it - but Conor Lynch's dad brought two sets to Belfast and back for free last year *- Pauric to ask Conor if his dad can do it* - the times of our ISDA shows have been confirmed - A Theory of Everything, Tuesday 8pm, in the Cube - Disco Pigs, Wednesday 2pm, in DIT Black Box - The Woods, Wednesday 5pm, in Trinity Players Theatre *AGM, when?:* - we should try and not have the AGM too soon after the musical - people might be still on the musical buzz and might not consider the responsibilities of committee properly - but there is no room for it in Week 11 - might just have to go in Week 10 anyway - Pauric will make sure to stress it in the announce drama that being on committee is a lot of work - will leave it until next week when the whole committee is here to decide *Scrubs the Musical, when?:* - is Scrubs going with the Variety Show and DADAs in Week 12? - is it a good idea to have the Variety Show as part of the DADAs in the first place? - the DADAs is meant to be a relaxed evening - also people in the Variety Show wouldn't be able to be nominated for the awards - we could do the Variety Show first, DADAs afterwards - will leave it until next week when the whole committee is here to decide - we will have only one performance of Scrubs, don't want to overdo it - the producers want it in Week 11 - will have it Tuesday of Week 11 at 6pm - hold it in the Old Bar, if it's in a different venue there will be a distinction between itself and A Theory of Everything * * *Yearbook/scrapbook:* - supplementary information for Clubs and Socs Awards due 25th March - the yearbook will be the scrapbook - there will be a contents page, collages of pictures, and blurbs and pictures for each show - it will be printed and bound *- Pauric to bring a draft of the yearbook to next week's meeting* *AOB:* *- Declan to check with Joey if he has got the rights for Disco Pigs* *Next meeting: **5pm**, Tuesday, March 18th, 2008*
