shows: Tuesday 8pm, Wednesday 8pm, Thursday 6pm and 8:30pm - get out will be on the Thursday night after the last show - two shows on the Thursday might be difficult for the cast but it can't be changed now, it's already being advertised - maybe get a school in for the 6pm show, could do a workshop beforehand, but would have to look into health and safety - bus will be organised to bring everyone to the after-show party - looking to speak to Lyndsey Fay or Joey Kavanagh for cast manager - looking to speak to Roisin Cooper or Pauric for stage manager *Sponsorship:* - Pauric is looking after sponsorship for the musical, getting a team together - stretch target €10,000, minimum target €5,000 - Pauric's main task is to get a title sponsor, like AIB or Bank of Ireland - anyone with contacts should forward them on to Pauric - AIB sponsored the panto €1000, but we didn't use it so we can put it into the musical instead - maybe DCU Drama could put a certain amount of money towards the musical rather than simply bail it out at the end *- Jenni to check if the society can afford to sponsor the musical* *Next semester:* - Week 1: auditions - Week 2: nothing (so far) - Week 3: Rag Week - Week 4: Romeo and Juliet, Vagina Monologues - Week 5: Snow White, Disco Pigs, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Week 6: Conor's play - Week 7: Reading Week - Week 8: Alan Flanagan's play, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, ISDAs - Week 9: Fame, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Week 10: Robin's play, AGM, Clubs and Socs Awards - Week 11: Variety Show, Tuesday, BICS, Thursday - Week 12: DADAs *- Declan to produce the Variety Show* *Monday Week 1:* - Pauric's idea of a forum for the members to explain the roles in the musical and other plays coming up - have it at 6:30pm, before committee meeting *- Pauric to contact the directors involved* - can sell hoodies at the forum too *Rag Week:* - Week 3 - definitely do Drown Drama - maybe have busking/face painting/balloon animals/chocolate apples in the Hub or Street as well - do both events on the Tuesday evening *- Fiona to contact people to do the busking* - aim to raise €500 *Workshops:* - try to have one every week this semester *- Yvonne to contact Ciaran Gray to do a workshop in Week 2* - also Liam Halligan, Aisling O'Flanagan, Ian Coppinger, Jay Fallon - maybe organise seminars for people who want to know more about the theory of drama like script writing, directing, producing, stage rules, etc. - use the forum on Monday of Week 1 as the first seminar, talking about auditions *Website:* - photos to be uploaded from Catherine *- Conor to get them up before Broadway* *- Conor to get an image of a poster for each show up on the home page and a list of shows that are happening* *- Conor to include a link to the Fame website on the side* *Yearbook/CD:* - the yearbook is a really good idea - drama CD: compilation of songs that people have performed during the year *- Declan to ask John McKeown if he would record the CD in the radio studio* *Broadway, role of committee:* - team leaders: Declan, Yvonne, Fiona, Pauric - committee must take on extra responsibility while on the trip - get people through the gates in the airport as quickly as possible - get people to the shows on time, committee need to be meeting in the lobby early to show a good example - make a special effort with the newer people - Pauric has a copy of the itinerary for everyone - rooms in the hostel: two rooms of 8 (mixed), two rooms of 12 (one for boys, one for girls) - Mustang Harry's on Monday night - ice skating on Tuesday morning *Committee meal:* - 8pm, Sunday, February 10th - funded by money from Open Day, €100, and money from Arts Week, €125 - €225 for the meal, committee will have to pitch in a little - venue: Little Caesar's near the Westbury *- Fiona to book for ten people* *Trip away:* - a trip to the West End? - after the musical, maybe the weekend of Week 9 - bring about twenty people, with first preference to those who didn't go on the Broadway trip - we would get funding for tickets at least - fly over Friday, see a show Saturday, come back Sunday, or just go for the day and see a matinee - too much on top of Broadway, committee probably wouldn't be able to go so there would be no one there to organise everything *AOB:* - Campus blurb - Drama's back with a bang - everyone had a great time in Broadway - forum on Monday, auditions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - auditions in Henry Grattan Building for Fame and other shows *Next meeting: **7:30pm**, **Monday, February 4th, 2008***
