Hi, for anyone who hasn't made up their mind about the intervarsities yet the plan for that weekend is as follows: The competition is on Sat., Feb 17th in Belfast. It's one day only. We generally head up on the Friday afternoon/evening, stay in a B&B, and head to dinner/pub/club after the competition. Some people leave Sat night, while others stay until Sunday. Spectators are welcome. Anyone who has been a student within the last year is eligible to compete. Travel expenses and registration fees will be somewhat subsidized by the SU. I also want to mention that Liam has generously offered to provide extra training sessions to prepare us for the competition so as soon as i know how many people plan to compete we will organise those. Please let me know as soon as possible whether you plan to attend either as a spectator or competitor. I need to say once again that this competition only comes along once a year and it's a great experience so don't be afraid to compete. Hope to hear from you soon, Louise.
