Yep, Hybrid's all over!
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who got involved and
all who helped out in the run to the big night. We couldn't have done it
without you lot. You all know who you are!
A BIG thanks to all the societies who joined with MPS to bring this night
about,
Clubber Soc. lads; Rory, Mark, Will and all our DJs,
Dance Soc. for providing entertainment on the night

Congratulations to Ciara Buckley CS2 winner of our big prize; the Vodaphone

Hi guys,
the deadline for submitting material for DCUTV is near so I hope all your
productions are going well. Here are a few important points.
- The closing date for submission of material is Saturday 29th March. That's
saturday week. You need to get any FINISHED programmes to me by saturday.
- If you have footage shot, but need it edited, DO NOT APPROACH LOANS! contact
either Michael Harte or me, and we'll help you out, the sooner you let us
know the better.
- If any of you have any programmes made for academic use, please ask the
lecturer to give you a copy as soon as possible.

hope you all enjoyed the weekend.
Hybrid is on this thursday, run by the MPS in association with some other
societies. A multimedia event which showcases work by DCU students, there's
a raffle for a picture phone, DJ's all night, and plenty of drinking and
dancing.
It's only three euro a ticket and all proceeds go to the National Council
for the Blind and the National Association for the Deaf.
Tickets are on sale in the hub until thurs, i have some and will be selling
them in the bar tomorrow and around the campus, and you can also get them
on the door on the night.
Please support it!!

Hi all,
As you'll already know HYBRID is happening next Thursday, that's the 20th
of March in the New Bar.
We're looking for a couple of people to run around with a couple of flyers,
sell some tickets, and help decorate the bar in the coming week leading
up to HYBRID.
What's in it for U???
FREE tickets to the BIG night itself!!!
So drop me a mail if you're interested. We'll be holding a meeting on this
Thursday to organise everything, so be there at 12pm at the MPS notice board
on the first floor of the Henry Gratten. First people to email me will get
the tickets!

hi everyone,
just one very important thing for people doing shows next week, you need
to bring head phones with you for when you're presenting your show or if
you're producing a show. loans don't have any to give us this year so it's
really really important to bring some with you (one with a nice long cable
preferably).

Hi everyone,
First of All I hope everyone had a great time at last nights launch party.
Thanks again to Doireann for a great night.
Secondly and more importantly:
The studio is being assembled in Meeting Room 3 (THREE) in the clubs and
socs area of the hub. The equipment we have are Two Minidisc machines and
Two CD players. There is no phone, no turntable and no cassette player
so if any of these are going to be part of your show, you'll have to make
other arrangements.
Everyone double and triple check when you're meant to be on air. Make sure
you arrive early and are organised.
In studio, there will be no food or drink allowed. Don't even think about
messing with any of the wires or I'll find you and kick your ass. no swearing,
no libeling people and nothing obscene.
Everyone hates rules so i'll stop. Just make sure you on time and you produce
a show of the highest possible broadcasting standards. Thats not much to
ask.
If anyone needs help give us a shout but basically you're fucked if you
need help now. only joking.
