i need all pre-recorded shows handed up to me by this thursday 6th march.
i'll be collecting them at the MPS noticeboard from 1pm - 1.15pm and later
on again at 3pm-3.15pm at the same spot. so hopefully you'll be free at
one of those times and you can come along and give your show to me. if people
don't turn up with their pre-recorded stuff i'll assume that you've decided
to do your show live.
make sure your mini disc has your show name on it, the track/s that it's
on, and the date and time it's to go on air.

attached below is the finalised timetable! everyone needs to look at it
carefully again as there have been some changes made, so DOUBLE CHECK what
time and day your show is on at.
also attached below is the production timetable. there is a producer down
for every slot during the day no matter if the show is live or pre-recorded,
there has to be always someone manning the studio to make sure everything
runs smoothly. VERY IMP: MAKE SURE YOU CHECK WHO IS PRODUCING YOUR SHOW!
check what time your show is on at and then check the corresponding time
on the production timetable. below are the names and email addresses of
all the producers, so that you can contact them if there's any problem or
just to confirm things.
just a quick reminder about the special SPINfm Workshop that is taking place
this wednesday 5th March at 2.30pm. please everyone show your support and
come along as they're being so sound giving us loads of free prizes and
CD's for the week of broadcasting. also the workshop is going to be great
for tips and advice on presenting a show.
hope to see you all at the launch party on thursday night in MacTurcaill's,
it's going to be a great night.

Hey everyone,
DCUTV are having their next meeting on Tuesday. I was thinking of having
it at 2 but let me know what your time tables are like and i'll fix it to
suit all.
You'll be glad to hear that the preparations are well under way. We have
got many programmes sorted but there are still a few that need your help.
1. Calling all multimedia students. I have a slot for a 5 minute animation
that i need filled. If you have one done already or want to do one, please
email me back.
2. Music video. We have one last music video to sort out. we need a crew
and a band. email me if you are interested or know of a band interested.
3. A main studio programme. Keep the ideas coming for this show, we need
a full crew also so give me a shout.
4. Documentary on Your a star, this years media craze. we will need a full
crew so again if you wanna meet mickey harte and co. drop me a line.
5. we need studio crew for our 5-day soap opera. let me know if you wanna
do that.

DCU FM is nearly upon us and i hope everyone has their shows in order. We
will be broadcasting from Meeting Room 3 in the Clubs and Societies area
of the Hub so if you don't know where it is, find out before you go on air.
WORKSHOP
This Wednesday 5th MARCH we will be having a presentation skills workshop
in CG11 at 2.30pm. The people from Spin FM are sending out some of their
top DJS to give us a crash course in how to do present shows. This will
be a great opportunity for those of us doing live shows this year.
Also, if anyone needs help to get some stuff recorded before going on air,
give us a shout.

The launch party for dcufm is on next Thursday 6th February at 8pm in McTurkels
on Tara St. It's just down the road from Fireworks and for those of you

here it is finally, the timetable, YAY!!! and it took me all night i'm feckin
knackered. take a look at it and check that your time and date of your
show is ok. if there's some important personal commitment that means you
can't do it at a certain time or day then let me know so i can switch you.
if it's just to do with a lecture then there shouldn't be a problem, lecturers
always understand missing classes for DCUfm. it would just be impossible
for me to arrange the shows around peoples timetables. so EMAIL ME AND CONFIRM
THAT YOUR TIME AND DAY IS SUITABLE ASAP!
also if there's a certain name you want to call your show or i've described
your show wrongly then let me know and i'll change it!
MOST IMPORTANTLY, you need to email me and let me know if you need a producer
for your show as in someone to work the desk for you if your show is live.
or maybe you've already arranged someone already to do it for you so just
let me know as i'm making up a seperate timetable for producers this week.
