Hi everybody, I know you're probably all snowed under with assignments at the moment but this is just a quick word about DCUFM 2003.
THE STATION We will be broadcasting from Monday 11th March to Friday 14th March. I know that seems ages away but we have to get working on programmes soon.
THE PROGRAMMES If you have any ideas for shows that you want to put forward give either myself or kim (kim.murphy8@mail.dcu.ie)an email as soon as you can. If you want to do a show but don't know what to do it about, we can give you a few suggestions.
We would like to ask if any of you are interested in doing any of the following shows:

00s Music Show
Documentary about Italia 90 (Jackie's Army etc)
Documentary about USA 94 (Jackie's Army again)
Taking Part in the Breakfast Show.
Drama pieces
Comedy Shows

I know that documentaries can be a lot of work but we've always had great documentaries on the station. So give us a shout with your ideas or if you're interested in any of the above.

hi guys,
I have just recieved applications for the O2 Student media awards which take place this year in may. If you're interested in applying for an award and are a member of the MPS you can enter with us, and we'll take care of your entry fee.
Details of the categories up for award are on the link from our homepage http://redbrick.dcu.ie/~mps. the closing date is today week so you'll have to have your entries to us by thurs eve latest. i know it's short notice but it's the first i've gotten!
Can all who are interested mail me back ASAP and i'll forward you on an application form.
Congrats to all the DCU TV crew who put in a savage amount of work the last few weeks preparing for broadcast, and don't forget to tune in to the NTL link channel on the 14th to the 18th of April next week!

hi guys sorry to those who this doesn't concern.
For all interested here's the form again, print it out and have it ready with the copy of your entry. Audio cassette or CD for radio entrys, VHS for films, and if you're entering a short film script you just give me a hard copy of the actual script there's no need to give the film on VHS, only if it's under the film category. Have all your entries in a large envelope. (preferably padded).
Meet me tomorrow at four at the Res Reception (yes i'm incredibly lazy ) i'm out shootin all day so if you can't make it at this time please get one of your mates to. it's being sent by courier so it will be there on time!
