Telescope Watches Tonight To celebrate Galilean Nights, a Cornerstone IYA event taking place from October 22 - 24, Astronomy Ireland have several telescope events happening throughout the country. TRALEE AND SLIGO To mark the launch of our Evening Classes in Tralee and Sligo, there will be telescope watches in both locations tonight, October 22, at 7:30pm. All those enrolled in the classes and members of the general public are invited to attend and see Jupiter through a telescope as Galileo did 400 years ago. For more information click HERE. Two Radio Shows Astronomy Ireland Chairman, David Moore, spoke to Mike Moloney (formerly of 2FM) on Real Radio about Galilean Nights in Dublin, Sligo and Tralee.
