PC Gaming will be playing host to a Worms: Unleased
tournament this Thursday. It'll be held in c204 at around
7PM. Signups will start from 6:30PM and will have standard
entry fee of 2euro.
|| Q-Con ||
Gamessoc are going to Q-Con again this year! The convention
will be running from 28th-30th June. It will cost
50euro for the whole weekend, which includes travel,
entry to convention and 3 nights accommodation.

There are only a few places left however so get on it!
Please find attached the required forms. Print them off,
fill them out and either give them specifically to Nicole

so make sure to fill out the forms and pay to avoid
disappointment.

Hey guys just a quick reminder about Q-Con. We have
just seven places left and they're going fast so if
you're interested make sure to post in the topic

The cost is 50euro for members and 118 for associates.
All money must be paid by the end of week 11 (next week).
If you have money to give, just grab any committee member
(there will always be one at every event) and give them the
moolah, mentioning that it's for Q-Con.

Hey guys, this is just a quick reminder for the Gamessoc Pub Quiz which
will be happening this Tuesday (tomorrow) night!
We'll be in the NuBar from 6PM-9PM, although it may be worth your while
coming down a bit early to get a table and get signed up. Entry is 2 euro
per person, so compose yourself into teams of four and come up with a team
name and come along for some drinks, some fun, and possibly some prizes!
Up for grabs are:
1st Place: Assortment of games (1 PS3, Xbox360, PC and Wii) + Bragging
Rights
2nd Place: 2 Magic the Gathering decks and 2 YuGiOh Decks
3rd Place: Delicious sweets!
We'll also be having a raffle for which tickets are 50c and a strip is
2euro.
If you win this raffle, you'll be taking home a SNES Console with two
controllers and two games. The games are Mortal Kombat and the original
Super Mario Bros. 1-3 + the elusive lost levels!
So make sure to sure to brush up on your gaming knowledge and come on down
to the NuBar to have some fun!

Trad Gaming is back in full force this week on both
Monday and Wednesday in XG01 from 6PM-10PM.
This Wednesday we're going to be having a Magic: The Gathering
Draft tournament. Entrants will be given 3 booster packs to
make a deck and then battle it out. The winners will be given
extra booster packs as a reward. You are NOT allowed to use
your own deck, only the cards that are provided for you.
Entry will be 3 euro, but there are only be places for the
first 8 people to sign up. Signups will be starting from
6PM in XG01 so make sure to get there on time if you want
to sign up.
|| Pub Quiz ||
The annual Gamessoc Pub Quiz is going to be held on Tuesday
this week from 6PM-9PM in the NuBar. So grab a group of
people (Teams of 4), come up with a team name, and come
to the bar to try your hand at winning some fabulous prizes!
We'll also be having a raffle where you could win a SNES Bundle,
which has a SNES, two controllers and two games!
Entry will be 2 euro per person. Make sure to come
along a bit early to ensure you get signed up and grab a table!

Gamessoc are going to be having a Super Smash Bros. Brawl
tournament this week during console gaming. The tournament
will be held in X101, with signups from 2:30PM and the
tournament starting at 3:PM. Entry will be 2euro with
a 20euro Gamestop voucher as a prize. So make sure
to come on by if you want to smash your opponents.

PC Gaming will be running as standard this week from 6PM
in C204 on Thursday. So make sure to drop by to play some
