Only 2 days to go until our Christmas BYOPC LAN! This is just a little
email with full details on what's happening, how to get there and what to
bring.
BYOPC, for those who dont know, stands for Bring Your Own PC. Now dont
worry if you dont have a high spec PC, because we'll be playing lots of
older games that run on dishwashers. We'll also be setting up the consoles
and running a RPG so there will be a little bit of everything for
everyone.
The schedule for Tournaments is as follows:
16:00 - 18:00 L4D2
18:00 - 20:00 RPG
20:00 - 22:00 TF2
00:00 - 02:00 AoEII
03:00 - 04:00 Worms
There will be lots of festive prizes for the winners and plenty of sweets
for all who come along!
It'll be taking place in the Helix. This time, however, it will be taking
place in the Blue Room on the second floor. The entrance is via the stage
door in the Helix. You'll have to enter via the stage door and then head
up the elevator. From there we'll have signs leading to the blue room.
There is a small set of stairs on the way to the room but committee
members will be there to help you bring up your PC and your equipment. In
case you don't know where the stage door is, here's a map showing the
entrance.
